The American Dream is Bharat's reality. Bharat Tamang was raised in a refugee camp in Nepal. In 2010, he and many other Bhutanese refugees were granted a life-changing opportunity to come to America and experience, first-hand, the promise of freedom, opportunity, and independence. They arrived here in Scranton, just as their immigrant ancestors had—this vibrant, thriving community is now proud to call Scranton “HOME.” Here, Bharat has earned an Associates Degree in Communicati...on from Lackawanna College and spent three years working for Bhutanese Cultural Foundation Scranton Association, a non profit organization. Currently, along with his dedication to being a Realtor at Christian Saunders Real Estate, Bharat enjoys working evenings at Geisinger Community Medical Center. Inspired by his own American dream, Bharat loves working closely with others to help elevate their lives by making their dreams of homeownership come true!
